I’m Hailee.

I run entirely on caffeine + creativity.

I’m one of the many creative makers out here getting lost in endless ideas and designing for the cause. Since drawing my way through life growing up as a self-taught artist, and dedicating a year of experience putting ink to skin in the world of tattoos after high school, I wanted to turn all this creative drive and curiosity into larger opportunities. After graduating from the Art Institute of Washington DC in ‘13 with a degree in Graphic Arts and Design, I quickly landed a position at a startup Ad Agency in DC. For the following 10+ years, I put my obsessive passion and energy to work in the professional world of design and creative ideation.

I’ve since discovered my style, interests and technical skills have become an immersive world of creative outlets; finding inspiration + expression through digital/hand-drawn illustration, fine/decorative art, typography, advertising, package design, interior design, fashion, branding, photography, and dare I say more (but yes, more).

When I’m MIA from design impulses, I’m somewhere hoarding design books and drinkware, looking for good Asian food or iced caffeine, getting lost in a new game release (–I’m lookin’ at you PS5/PC crew), or binging one of too many TV series (thanks Netflix/Hulu/all else). You won’t find me anywhere near an ocean since my heart belongs to the West Coast –Denver, Colorado to be specific. If I’m not fantasizing about the rocky states, I’m thinking of a trip to Europe, a new tattoo, my next motorcycle ride, and how many plants and animals (of any kind) I can bring home.

So if you like petting zoos, places with epic mountain scenes, the gaming world, fun food, and can appreciate creativity in all forms, then we’re either already friends,… –or supposed to be.
